These terms govern your use of Forge Up. By using the platform you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or otherwise using Forge Up, you confirm that you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Who can use Forge UpDraft

Forge Up is intended for people aged 14–18 in the United Kingdom, as well as the academies and schools that support them. If you are under 18, you should have your parent or guardian’s permission to use the platform, and certain features may require it. Final age and consent requirements are subject to legal sign-off.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account. Please give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account.

Acceptable use

When using Forge Up you agree not to:

  • break the law or encourage others to do so;
  • post or share content that is harmful, abusive, misleading or infringes someone else’s rights;
  • attempt to disrupt, gain unauthorised access to, or misuse the platform or its data.

Content and accuracyDraft

Forge Up provides information about trades, careers and apprenticeships for general guidance. We work to keep it accurate but cannot guarantee that salaries, opportunities or other details are complete or up to date, and they should not be relied on as professional careers or financial advice.

Intellectual property

Forge Up, its branding and its content are owned by Foras Group or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the platform for your own personal, non-commercial use only and must not copy or redistribute its content without permission.

Our liabilityDraft

To the extent permitted by law, Forge Up is provided “as is”. We are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from your misuse of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law. Final wording is subject to legal sign-off.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is 0.1-draft. When we make material changes we will update the version and effective date shown at the top of this page, and where appropriate we will notify you in the platform. Continuing to use Forge Up after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing lawDraft

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction. Final governing-law wording is subject to legal sign-off.
